In business for 24 years, Ellsworth Music is Jefferson County's first full line music store.
Ellsworth Music started in the year 2000 and it wasn’t long before the store expanded in 2002 with two locations in Shepherdstown and Charles Town, West Virginia. Today, we have one location that has lessons, rentals, retail, and repairs. Our School of Music has an additional nine studios and performance space.
We supply area musicians — novice to the experienced — with all their musical needs. We stock accessories, music, and instruments, and also provide expert repairs on all instruments.
We carry brand name band instruments for beginners to professionals along with a fine line of orchestral instruments, acoustic, electric, and classical guitars, as well as a wide range of percussion. Instruments can be purchased at once or under our easy rent-to-own program.
We are also the first private music teaching institution in the area, with professional teachers specializing in almost every instrument and spanning a variety of styles. Lessons are available 6 days a week.
